**Role Summary:**

opening for a Petroleum Economist in Houston, Texas. This role will report into the Gaffney, Cline,
& Associates consultancy group

talented and motivated professionals to join its dynamic organization.

**Essential Responsibilities:**

+ Provide necessary economic strategic input tomulti-disciplinary projects

+ Valuation and evaluation of petroleum assets,commercial assessment of petroleum projects worldwide, reservesevaluations and feasibility studies

+ Cash flow modelling and creation of economic models

+ Economic and financial analysis including valuation ofclients oil and gas interests worldwide and the identification ofinvestment opportunities

+ Performing economic evaluation of midstream anddownstream assets

+ Development of analytical tools and methodologies toperform exploration portfolio evaluations

+ Conducting audits for major oil and gas projects

+ Lead critical multidisciplinary projects

+ Carry out analysis and present on economics thoughtleadership in industry forums

+ Contribute to business development efforts and proposalwriting

+ Play a leading role in strategic Sovereign advisoryprojects as assigned


+ Bachelor's Degree Minimum in Economics

+ MS Excel

+ Project management skills, including budgetcontrolling, project planning and monitoring.

+ Strong command of international petroleum fiscalsystems, economic modeling and risk analysis for exploration andproduction

+ Excellent analytical skills in optimization techniques,project appraisal and strategic planning

+ Must be action oriented, ethical in value, and have astrong client focus
