To analyse well data related to the integrity of all Dukhan wells and to participate in the design, implementation,
maintenance and development of data management system.
1.Manage well integrity and petroleum engineering data and use such data to develop, recommendations and actions
related to the integrity of wells in the Dukhan Field.
2.Research and prepare special reports, presentations, and studies for internal and external parties, inclusive of answering
various requests from government offices, related to well integrity in the Dukhan Field.
3.Manage all aspects of data management technology and identify opportunities for the application of data management
technology to optimize well integrity activities in the Dukhan Field.
4.Coordinate with Senior Petroleum Engineers and Senior Completion Engineers to create, modify and maintain risk
ranking criteria to ensure appropriate monitoring and maintenance of Dukhan wells.
5.Establish workover priorities by conducting risk assessment of Dukhan wells based on the final investigation report
prepared by Senior Petroleum Engineers and prepare the risk status Management Report to ensure that high and medium
risk wells are identified and actioned.
6.Manage well integrity software systems by providing technical recommendations and guidance on the pre-implementation
activities, integration of application programs, evaluation and modification of vendor packages, implementation and post
implementation administration of the Well Integrity Management Software to maximize the efficiency of well integrity
7.Ensure the efficient use and handling of WIMS software by acting as the coordinator and accountable person of this
system with the objective to deliver high quality well integrity data for engineers to analyze and mitigate well risks.
8.Recommend contractual features for vendor supplied software and hardware on turnkey projects such as service
agreement, training, cost & maintenance procedures to ensure the optimized system implementation and maintenance.
9.Coordinate with other departments on well integrity data requirements and provide input for technical/coordination
meetings including: planning and executing required IT systems, database requirements and review of related plans to
keep other departments informed of critical activities.
Experience & Skills
10+ years of work experience in engineering activities associated with petroleum engineering and geo-sciences.
Experience with data flows and business process.
Proactive in dealing with engineering problems and following up with solutions.
Experience in Database languages like SQL etc.
Experience in implementing data management systems & their integration with other data systems.
Strong teamwork skills and being able to work in multi-cultural environment.
Ability communicate effectively in English with peers, field staff and management.
Knowledge of different Oil and Gas field operations and E&P; data classes and attributes.
Knowledge of Unix/Linux operating Systems and desktop tools.
Proactive in dealing with end-user support issues.
The job holder will be in constant communication with WIMS users in UDN, and with personnel in Production and Field
Development departments to ensure that accurate and high quality data is feed into the WIMS.
The job holder will have close communication with the IT team who support the WIMS system to ensure the support and
maintenance of WIMS software is done according to the expectation of UDN department.

The job holder will have well developed analytical, problem solving and decision making skills to contribute to the critical
decision making processes.
The job holder will have a high degree of software user knowledge such as: WIMS (Well Integrity Management System),
OFM (Oil Field Manager), P2ES production management. Open Wells, Access, Oracle, SAP, LogDB, eSearch, Laboratory
Information Management Systems LIMS), Arc GIS and SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition Systems).
BSc. Degree in either: *Computer science, information technology or equivalent supplemented with industry courses in
Engineering and Geo-sciences data handling. Or*Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Geology or equivalent
with industry courses in computer applications.
