Are you a driven, independent and enthusiastic Petroleum Architect and interested in joining the team of our client, a major oil & gas company?
Provide the management with key technical decision-making points on future projects, in compliance with the standards of the company in terms of design, safety and environment;
Optimize development schemes by taking into account the resources, the contribution of new technologies and the economic viability of various projects;
Provide with dossier to define /develop a robust basis or execution of projects.
Petroleum architect (also known as development engineer) contributes to the articulation strategy. The main activities are to;
Contribute, and in some cases coordinate, Project Field Development Plan;
Contribute to NOC business cycles: by providing relevant elements (scope, costs, schedule) for the consolidation of14 WPB, LRBP and LTSV, as well as reserves (ÁRR). Frame opportunities to be able to promote the developments identified;
Prepare Decision Support Package (DSP) to support decision making at each Stage Gates.
In the context of development studies (from framing to FID):
Establish the basis of studies (study content, deliverables, planning and budget) in relation with the VOC relevant entities RGS, DW, FOPS, E&C, MP, HSEQ;
Collect, analyze and consolidate data for the studies, define and initiate survey if necessary;
Coordinate the various disciplines during the study and ensure that deliverables are issued expected;
Ensure that milestones and budgets are met;
Ensure that the quality assurance process set up by NOC is implemented. In particular, organize a Development Review before any Stage Gate;
Use tools recommended by company CMS particularly with regard to study planning and electronic management of study documents;
Propose technical innovations generating incremental value and promote them in the developments. Guarantee that the development schemes comply with the NOC standards in terms of design, health, safety and environment;
Ensure that value engineering is done to drive development costs down;
Prepare the DSP, and all associated documentation. for all Stage Gates (including the SOR at the end of pre-FEED).
Ensure of the buy in to the study results by company management and all stakeholders Participate, as required, in technical exchanges with Shareholders.
Generally, the job holder is expected to contribute to improve methods and practices. In this area, activities are:
Improve methodologies and tools;
Deliver constructive criticism on the validity and content of studies;
Play an active role in HSE awareness activities set up by company.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Must be degree qualified and professional qualification;
Minimum 7 to 10 years’ experience on the same field.
