The Ministry of Energy and Resources, Field Services Branch requires an energetic, self-motivated individual to join their Kindersley Regional staff.
You will be a part of a team that is responsible for the delivery of regulatory compliance and enforcement programs relating to the upstream oil and gas industry. You will conduct field inspections and approve technical programs and applications submitted by the industry in respect to drilling, construction, production, operation, abandonment, decommissioning and reclamation of wells and facilities.

The successful applicant will be required to work undefined hours, travel and work in remote locations and inclement conditions. You may be on call for extended periods of time and may be required to transfer to other locations within the province. A Class 5 driver’s license is required.

The knowledge required for this position would typically be obtained through an engineering or applied science degree with experience in the petroleum exploration and development industry, or an equivalent combination of related education, training and experience.
