Key Duties/Responsibilities
Position Title: PE-ETS Production Technologist

Location: Houston, Texas

Specific Responsibilities:
The PE-ETS Production Technologist, for Apache Corporation will be a member of Apache’s Engineering Technical Services team at the company’s Houston, office reporting to the Production Efficiency Manager. This role will provide support to the members of the Production Efficiency team for access to multiple data sources in Apache including the Enterprise Data Warehouse as well as key data systems such as WellView, SAP, Avocet, Basware, Cygnet and OSI PI. They will also be responsible for data connection and ongoing support for pilot and development initiatives on the Digital Production Operations Road Map

This role will be primarily responsible for the following:
Build and maintain complex queries, to Apache and software databases for further analysis by Engineering and Management group members
Interface with personnel in the field, IT and Region offices to coordinate and work through data related issues (for example data quality control).
Access and aggregate data from the Enterprise Data Warehouse, WellView, SAP, Avocet, OFM, Cygnet and OSI PI.
Conduct initial analysis of aggregated data to check for completeness.
Build, support, maintain and sustain Spotfire guides and dashboards.
Fulfill data requests from other departments as needed.
Assist team members as needed with technical issues related to data and analytical software
Job Qualifications
Professional Qualifications & Experience:
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications and experience:
Demonstrated knowledge in all Microsoft Office Software;
Experience in using analytical tools;
Understanding of upstream oil and gas industry and terminology;
Associate degree or minimum 5 years’ experience in the oil and gas industry in a similar role;
Good people and communication skills. Exemplifies Apache Core Values;
