A degree in Geology or Geophysics and knowledge of interdisciplinary geosciences.
A detailed understanding of drilling and related Geotechnical operations and procedures gained through extensive rig-site Geological experience.
Greater than 10 years experience in geotechnical wellsite operations, gained working as a mud-logger, LWD engineer, or Wireline Engineer, and with five of those years as a wellsite geologist or related position.
Previous experience with office-based Operations Geology, carbonate drilling and evaluation, PMCD operations and evaluation.
Specific skills to include Pore Pressure and Fracture Gradient Prediction.
Excellent reporting and communication skills and an ability to express ideas and instructions clearly both orally and in writing are also essential.
