Our client is currently recruiting for the position of Operations Geologist, based in AberdeenResponsibilities will include:High quality geological input into development projects and ongoing field operationsGenerate 3D geocellular models to aid field development and exploration activitiesParticipation in multi-disciplinary project teamsGeneration of drilling prospects, planning wells and monitoring and evaluation of well resultsMaintain a ranked inventory of development opportunities for the fieldIn conjunction with other function groups prepare a business case describing the opportunity, detailing the benefits, costs and risksWrite concise reports for all studies and maintain comprehensive, accessible, up-to-date records of input and interpreted dataData room evaluations of potential farm-inQualificationsDegree qualified or equivalent, preferably to MSc or higher levelSkills & ExperienceExcellent technical background in petroleum geologyPrevious relevant industry experienceAbility to build and use 3D geological modelsInvolvement in project drilling operations as well as Well Workover/Innervation operations.
