OIL & GAS PRODUCTION LECTURER
 
Background
IFP Training, a subsidiary of IFP Energies nouvelles, is looking for a lecturer with proven experience in oil and/or gas production and a comprehensive knowledge of the entire production chain (from the well to the export point) to help develop the activities of the Exploration-Production department.
 
Main tasks
You give training in the field of oil/gas production (bottom hole and surface).
You design, organize and manage professional training projects, as well as specialization courses in the same field.
The training courses you implement are aimed at both experienced professionals and newly hired personnel (technicians, engineers) from the most prestigious oil companies (NOCs, IOCs).
You have a wide autonomy to develop, implement and manage your projects, in partnership with the major players in the oil industry. You can satisfy your taste for technique and animation and broaden your field of expertise.
 
Location
The job is based in France in Rueil-Malmaison, and it is open on the international market. It implies frequent, short period missions (1 to 3 weeks) worldwide.
 
Profile
You are an engineer by training and you have 15 years of experience in oil/gas production. You have a comprehensive knowledge of the whole production chain, from the well to the export point, and in particular you are familiar with the problems of:
- Well operation (flowing wells, gas lift, work-over)
- Operation of gathering systems (production, water/gas injection)
- Field processing, utilities and other related systems
 
Your experience has enabled you to have a global vision of the technical, operational and human problems involved. You are attracted by the sharing and transmission of your knowledge and you wish to contribute to the development of the skills of professionals in an industry you are passionate about. Fluency in written and spoken English and French is essential. Fluency in Spanish would be a plus.
