As a Mudlogger you will collect and monitor all information (Geological Samples, Data from sensors) Via 'real time' computer based data acquisition system during drilling operations at an oil-rig on shore. As a Mudlogger you will collect, process and analyze geological samples. You will interpret incoming information with regards to pit levels, rate of penetration, the rotation speed, the mud fluid flow rate, cutting and pump rate.The Key Responsibilities will be real time monitoring of drilling activity onsite, contributing to maintain a safe working environment on the rig by interpreting the data at hand, and giving feedback to the, geologist, data engineer, drilling team and company man. In the case of any technical failure you will be required to provide onsite technical support. If needed you will also be required to assist the well-site geologist during 'coring operations'. As a Mudlogger, you will also need to create special logs and written reports for well-site geologists.Required Skills/Experience: Must be fluent in English, have dependable transportation, flexibility to work away from home for extended periods of time, computer/excel experience, excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be a strong team player.Required Qualifications: High school degree or equivalent, degree in geology is preferred but not required, preferred field experience, with geo-steering background. Must be able to pass pre-employment and random drug tests.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience in the oil field and/or with geo-steering, Bachelor's degree or above - particularly in Geology.
