Their services range from Non-Exclusive studies to Multi-disciplinary services, are active in all processes relating to the search for, and exploitation of hydrocarbons.The successful candidate will work as part of the global Sales and Marketing team. The position will involve close liaison with the Sales Director, the Sales, Marketing, Business Development and Technical teams.The role focuses on identifying new business contacts within appropriate client teams (NV/Exploration/Research) as well as government and academic institutions. You will establish new client relationships through cold call, email and face to face engagement.Monitoring client exploration activities and government announcements to identify opportunities for new non-exclusive product development are also part of the role.The incumbent will provide technical support to colleagues in the development of new products from concept to activation, build relationships with, and develop knowledge of, other CGG business lines to broaden the offerings of the company and add value to client.You must be a strong team player with excellent presentation, problem and negotiation skills.Required Education and Experience: BSc in Geology or related subject for this role is essential. An MSc or PhD is desirable. The ideal candidate will possess 1+ years Geoscience and/or Geoscience Sales experience.If you have experience delivering geoscience presentations to an academic and/or industry audience with knowledge of the upstream oil and gas industry this is also advantageous.You must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint.
