LNG Production Engineer required to work in Hampshire engineering department for up to 12 months.
Position will suit Graduate with up to 3 years’ experience in O&G industry and/or LNG plant operations.
An opportunity with a major integrated energy company, committed to growth in the areas of exploration, production, transport, transformation and marketing of oil and natural gas. As a division of a major operator, this well-established oil & gas engineering operation, with a reputation for technical excellence, operates primarily as the in-house engineering department of a global operator with their focus being as a competence and execution centre for onshore and deep-water engineering.
Main objectives of the role:
• Review and assess the operability and maintainability of company LNG related projects and upstream facilities• Analyse LNG plants production performance • Analyse LNG project reliability performances also with reference to well/gas collection systems etc• Estimate company LNG assets OPEX – upstream and midstream • Assist and ensure consistent OPEX estimation for new LNG initiatives• Evaluate flow measurement and well testing systems• Review new equipment for compliance with industry codes and company standards
• Knowledge of plant material balancing, product allocation• Graduate with up to 3 years’ experience in O&G industry and/or LNG plant operations• Excellent communication skills• Good working knowledge of English (spoken & written)
• Knowledge of gas/LNG production process (sweetening, dehydration, compression and liquefaction)• Knowledge of upstream gas production systems – wells, networks• Knowledge of production measurement and well testing
Preferred Qualification: Degree in chemical/petroleum/mechanical engineering or similar
