Reservoir engineering work in pre-salt field development projects
Perform reservoir simulations, as well as utilizing analytical reservoir engineering methods
Establish drainage strategies in close integration with field development planning team
Design and perform dynamic uncertainty analyses based on actual development concept(s)
Participate in planning of, and ensure an optimal data acquisition program in appraisal wells and future production/injection wells:
Participate in planning of and establish objectives for drill stem tests
Establish premises for fluid sampling
Follow-up of external studies (SCAL, PVT, etc.) and define SCAL, PVT input data for reservoir simulations
Ensure that the reservoir engineering work is done in accordance with Equinor´s requirements
Participate and share performed work in license meetings with partners
Some traveling should be anticipated
Minimum 10 years´ experience with proven deliveries
Broad technological background within reservoir/petroleum engineering, preferably from carbonate reservoirs. Pre-salt reservoir geology experience is an advantage.
Experience from reservoir engineering methods in carbonate reservoirs, and pre-salt reservoirs in particular:
History matching experience from pre-salt fields an advantage
Experience with modelling of fractures/excess permeability features an advantage
Significant hands-on experience with commercial reservoir simulation/engineering tools such as, Eclipse 100, Petrel RE. Working knowledge with Kappa suite, MBAL and/or PVTSim is an advantage.
Experience with early phase project development as well as fields in production
Experience with these topics would be an advantage:
Well test analysis and planning in pre-salt reservoirs
Dual perm/dual porosity modelling
