Leading pre-salt geoscience expert in PCE with responsibility for driving and contributing to subsurface technical excellence for the pre-salt in Equinor.Develops, manages and contributes to cross-discipline technical collaboration initiatives within the pre-salt area.Performs high-quality technical work on subsurface data, analogues and their application to assets.Provides deep technical insight on carbonate (pre-salt) reservoir systems and their productive behavior. Advises across the pre-salt disciplines where needed and helps to build long term strategic capability in the local Rio-based organisation.Is a key technical interface with the relevant Research and Technology units and programs to help ensure the interaction is optimized and success of research is gained.Collaborates closely with the Norway-based leading advisors and specialists to ensure capability development in Brazil is integrated with Equinor systems.Works together with the Equinor data science community to enable pre-salt digital deliveries and to contribute to others.Is a member of the PCE management team and is an ambassador for Equinor Brazil and for the Pre-salt Centre of Excellence within the internal and external communities.
QualificationsDeep pre-salt/carbonate subsurface work experience, either G&G; or ResPro disciplines with preference for both.Carbonate reservoir experience and expertise. Proven record of carbonate geoscience contribution.Previous leadership experience is a plus.Proven ability to deliver through previous work experience.Has a strong external presence in the industry and academic communities in Brazil and abroad.Relevant experience may compensate for formal qualifications.More than 10 years of relevant experience preferred.
