This role reports to the VP New Access, DPUSA :
Proven ability to incorporate geology and reservoir engineering data to identify sweet spots in unconventional and conventional reservoirs
Demonstrated ability to understand and develop shale resource and tight oil and gas plays
Ability to put together a horizontal development plan for field development
Ability to put together reservoir evaluation and logging plan for initial test wells
Proven capabilities in computer based mapping and construction of integrated geological databases with appropriate documentation of work products
Geological Mapping Software – proficient with Kingdom with knowledge on other applicable geological mapping software such as Petrel as well as ArcGIS is a plus
Engineering Software – proficient with Aries and Knowledgeable on Enersight is a plus
Working knowledge and ability to integrate petrophysical analysis into geological models and mapping
Ability to incorporate geochemistry data and petroleum systems analysis into overall interpretation of basin and prospects
Strong understanding of exploration risk and probabilistic analysis
Commercial and economic mindset with focus on spending time directed towards value adding projects
Minimum 4 year college degree with preference for Masters in Geology, Geophysics or related discipline
Minimum 15+ years overall experience with significant onshore exploration track record
Ability to live by "I am safety" expectations

Ability to work within, build and foster a collaborative team environment
Ability to influence decisions in a cooperative and constructive manner
Demonstrates desire to share knowledge and build consensus around ideas
Proven ability to be courageous, innovative and to champion new ideas

Ability to coach, mentor and provide guidance to more junior geoscientists and technicians
