Line manager for the Moscow PETEC team
The PTC DPI Moscow team is responsible for supporting the Russia office within petroleum technology. This includes North Komsolskoye (NK) DG3 full field development work, support Kharyaga project as well as other technical tasks requested mainly by Moscow office
The main tasks initially will be to ensure that Statoils interests are taken care of on the North Komsomolskoye (NK) test and pilot.
First milestone is evaluate the NK 2018 production results and support investment memorandum for 2019 drilling and testing on NK field within Statoil
Evaluate well result and production results.
Responsible reservoir simulation models
Support SKN JV when required
Responsible for reservoir evaluation and reporting required for project sanctioning in late 2019
Participate in technical meetings with operator
Ensure proper quality control in Statoil
Location in Moscow
Some field visits and visits to institutes will be required
The line manager will be in Oslo
Master or PhD in reservoir engineering or another relevant discipline
Minimum 10 years industry experience preferred
High experience with reservoir engineering
Working experience with similar field development projects are beneficial
Experience in working with Russian oil and gas companies is useful
Solid technical skills are expected in Russia
Ability to work well with others and a desire to make a difference on potentially significant impact opportunities are important
Capable to work with a large amount of data, and present and work with stakeholders, both internal and external
Ability to find practical solutions to hardware and software issues that may occur
Ability to work in a multicultural environment and with diverse business cultures.
Solid experience and skills within reservoir technology
Ability to work in a place where Russian language is important
Ability to move project SKN JV to a different direction if results indicate more positive results
Effective communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment in Statoil and with SKN JV
Strong interpersonal skills
Well-structured work practices
Cross disciplinary experience and long experience with DG3 process, documentation and approvals
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Flexible and a team worker
Ability and willingness to teach others
