Reservoir Engineering Discipline Lead – UAE
Element 6 Recruitment is working with a Middle Eastern focused oil & gas company, headquartered in the UAE, managing the company’s search for a Reservoir Engineering Lead.
As Reservoir Engineering Lead, you will be a hands-on member of an integrated subsurface team and the most senior reservoir engineer within the company.
You will be responsible for leading the small team of young, highly talented reservoir engineers, undertaking reservoir engineering studies of company-operated carbonate fields in the Middle East, to optimise field development plans as well as analyse available data.
In this role, you will prepare detailed/integrated development plans for carbonate assets, sometimes with limited data.
The Right Candidate:
As the successful candidate, you will;
Have a vast amount of technical, reservoir engineering experience, ideally including time spent in major or supermajor IOCs. You will have worked on a large number of technically varied fields & assets, including times working with little data.
Have experience of building models and field development plans for fractured carbonate reservoirs.
Be experienced in model building, taking projects from exploration, appraisal and development phases.
Be an excellent communicator, with significant experience of training, mentoring and developing younger and national staff members.
- This role is offered on a full-time residential, staff basis in the UAE. Please note, this role is not available on a consultancy/day-rate status.
