Being founded in 2013, the added value of its proprietary Wave-Equation Based AVO (WEB-AVO) inversion technology has been demonstrated in several case studies around the globe. We are currently looking for a dynamic and experienced QI professional to lead our operations team and maximize the value created for our clients through our services.At Delft Inversion, every employee contributes directly to the overall company performance. Although we already have a unique technology portfolio, further developments are still underway and new products will hit the market in the coming two years.Delft Inversion strives to become a significant player in the market of seismic reservoir characterisation. We believe strongly that our WEB-AVO inversion will become the technology of choice for quantitative interpretation of seismic data and we aim for many customers to benefit from it.Role description:The Lead QI Geophysicist will be responsible for the qualitative and timely execution of all reservoir characterisation projects and serve as the liaison with the customer during the project. The successful candidate will assume ownership of setting up the project plan and supervising its proper execution by a team of - currently - three QI geophysicists. Moreover, their responsibility includes keeping projects on track and focused on objectives. With this, the Lead QI Geophysicist has mostly technical but also some non-technical tasks with a portion of their time dedicated to hands-on work on projects.As a user of the Delft Inversion software and closely working with our customers, the Lead QI Geophysicist is expected to identify new QI approaches around our core technology and in collaboration with other members of the team, develop and implement new workflows.We expect that the Lead QI Geophysicist has a proven track-record of guiding and mentoring less experienced geophysicists. Our candidate is expected to be pro-active, show initiative and excel in organising work to be performed while inspiring and motivating the rest of the team.
