Your main missions will be: HSE Promote best practices in community affairs, safety and environmental management that are consistent with company and industry standards. Technical & General Analyze and report bitumen production, operational activities / costs (well work-overs, well abandonments, central processing facility, usage of gas and diluent, maintenance) and HSE for internal communication. Monitor day to day field operations out of available reports.Coordinate with lead engineers for production reporting, production forecast generation, budget inputs and diluent equalization.Support lead engineers with preparation of monthly/quarterly production and expense variance analysis documentsAnalyze and report the summary of Operator monthly/weekly stewardship reports.Analyze performance, benchmark with industry peers and identify opportunities for optimization.Review mail ballots, work program proposals, and technical reports from the Operator to provide recommendations to the lead engineers.Develop and maintain effective working relationships with other TEPCA entities such as Finance, Total Trading & Marketing Canada (TTMC) and GSR.Overall understanding of Joint Operating Agreement (JOA) and limited partnership governance documents. Support lead engineers with the implementation of these documents in OSA (Oil Sand & Assets) activities.Provide back up support to the lead engineersPromote best safety and environmental practices consistent with Total and industry standards. Cost Control Plan and implement all activities to ensure that work is undertaken and results are achieved in the most cost effective way. Please check the following website to make sure that your application complies with the criteria to carry out a VIE assignment: Candidate profile Desired qualifications: Master's Degree in Process / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent candidate, with experience/understanding in plant design and/or plant operations in the oil and gas / oil sands industry. Technical skills: Technical oriented individual with proven analytical skills to secure and review relevant multi-disciplinary information/data to identify key issues and relationships in order to determine/promote appropriate course of action. Strong experience in leading and motivating multi-disciplinary teams to achieve goals and to identify and resolve problems. Good working knowledge of joint venture business practices and asset management techniques. Strong negotiation and strategic skills.
