This role will be responsible for completing, coordinating and leading detailed financial and technical analyses, including the integration of engineering, geological and financial information, and will work on a blend of divestiture, acquisition and merger mandates. Specifically, the role will be responsible for assisting and leading the execution and completion of technical evaluations, economic performance analyses, reservoir and asset descriptions, upside identification and other interpretation related products. The incumbent will also assist and lead the preparation, writing, and delivery of various marketing and presentation documents as well as have client involvement.
Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Professional Engineer designation)
8-14 years combined exploitation engineering and business development/ A&D work experience in the North American Oil and Gas industry is preferred
Direct experience in exploiting and evaluating resource oil and gas plays and conversant in understanding horizontal drilling and multistage completion technologies
Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team environment
In-depth reservoir technical and economic evaluation experience including performance comparison analyses, type curve derivation, economics, sensitivities, cost drivers, full scale development planning and commercialization concepts
Demonstrated experience in consummating divestiture and acquisition transactions
Excellent communication (listening, speaking, writing) and presentation skills
Ability to mentor and be mentored; continuous learner
Excellent interpersonal skills; a strong ability to work with various technical and financial disciplines and capability to represent the firm with current and future clients
Ability to manage multiple, changing priorities and meet deadlines
Experienced user of industry data bases and software including ValNav, Mosaic, Xi, geoScout and Microsoft Excel, Power Point and Word
