We are looking to strengthen our team of Geosteer Geologist.In order to accommodate the increasing workload we are looking for a Geosteering Geologist in our Solution Engineering department.  You will be a part of a dynamic and flexible work group and work with some of the industries most talented people within wellbore reservoir placement.  You will work closely with the customer either in the customer`s office or at Halliburton?s Real-Time center.Job description:Pre well study:Request and QC data for modellingModelling relevant scenarios for the Target well, based on customer input and Geosteering experience. Attend in a shift rotation Real-Time jobsMonitor geological operations and provides analysis of conditions encountered in real time by using any Halliburton tool which can give an idea of the petrophysical properties of the surrounding media.Post well work:Make and hold post well presentations for the clientAssist in tender preparation when needed.Industry participation by attending conferences and participate in success stories, case studies and abstract proposals.Assist in other projects in Halliburton when needed i.e. taking part in the Real Time Operation Center shift rotation.We offer:Competitive pension- and insurance schemeCompany health serviceBeneficial employee stock-purchase planFocus on technology and further developmentQualifications:Master (MSc) or Bachelor degree (BSc) in Petroleum Engineering, Geology or strongly related fields.Minimum 5 years? experience within one or more of following areas: Geosteering, M/LWD, Wellplanning or other relevant fields.Knowledge about planning tools such as Stratasteer3D Software is an advantageAlso experience with using InSite is benefitial.In this position excellent skills in English, written and oral, is essential and be able to make and hold presentations.Personal qualities:Candidates should have good communication and collaborative skills.You need to work structured and organized in a complex and hectic work environment.You manage to work independent and at same time be a part of the team.This position has an outward role towards our customers.We are looking for one who has a strategic mind set and also innovative and always looking for new and better solutions for our customer.Location: Eldfiskvegen 1, 4056 Tananger, NorwayProduct Service Line: Sperry Drilling Full timeContact Persons: Hiring Manager: Jan Egil Tengesdal (+47) 51 83 83 60Recruiter: Anders Hanasand (+47) 51 83 74 84Deadline: 31st of March 2018
