OCTIO provides flexible geophysical monitoring solutions, tailored to optimally fit every specific project. OCTIO's services cover all the phases required to convert geophysical data into value for our clients. OCTIO performs geophysical studies to define overall monitoring strategies, plans and executes operations and provides support to integrate data in interpretation workflows.
OCTIO's seismic monitoring technology (ReM) is a scalable and flexible platform, which features MEMS accelerometers and hydrophones. ReM applications range from focused systems for monitoring around injector wells to full scale reservoir monitoring systems.
OCTIO DrillWatch is a new service within OCTIO's portfolio: a seafloor seismic monitoring solution for cost-efficient and safer well drilling. By using DrillWatch, the drill bit is positioned in real-time with high accuracy relative to the known seismic horizons and structures. This allows for a more efficient casing and higher performance from producer wells. The drill bit itself is used as a seismic source for imaging the subsurface ahead of the bit and provide geosteering during the operation. Furthermore, microseismic monitoring during the drilling operation allows to monitor well integrity and to get additional geological information to analyze the result of formation tests.
