Conducts research and presents technical data in a clear, concise, and professional manner to team and/or management
Complete 2D and 3D geologic mapping and modeling
Identify and quantify prospectivity in evaluated areas at play or prospect level
Additional skills in one or more of the following: petroleum systems modelling, play fairway analysis, seismic attribute analysis, petrophysics and/or rock physics
Responsible for seismic and well database management
Technical presentations in support of multi-client sales and advisory work
Work directly with business development and seismic data processing groups
Maintains active role in professional and industry associations and organizations to stay abreast of technical development and changes
All other duties as assigned by management
We are looking for:

Bachelor’s degree in Geology or Geophysics required, Master’s degree in Geology or Geophysics preferred
A minimum of 2-5 years of geoscience work experience required
Experience of seismic interpretation and working with integrated G&G; datasets
Capable of completing moderately complex work independently, while working in a multidisciplinary team
A solid understanding of the oil and gas industry
Effective oral and written communication skills; delivers information in a clear and concise manner; listens and communicates effectively with others
Demonstrates critical problem solving and analytical skills
Adapts as necessary in a response to challenges, change, and uncertainty
Demonstrates initiative, results driven, acts on opportunities to add value
Exercises effective and appropriate use of judgment in a timely manner
Quick learner with a passion to continue to learn about seismic interpretation, geological evaluations, geophysical attributes, data acquisition and processing
Responsible and dependable with strong work ethic
Team player
ArcGIS, Kingdom, and DUG Insight skills preferred.
Must be computer literate with a working knowledge of MS Office Suite
