Wood Environment & Infrastructure is currently seeking a fulltime permanent Junior Geoscientist to join our Materials team in Burlington, ON. Key Responsibilities Available for field work drill rig supervision, geologic mapping, rock core logging and aggregate test pitting, and site survey;Project management duties will include receiving samples, sample logistics and scheduling, testing preparation, and completion of project file documents;Report writing of field and laboratory results.Laboratory testing using test methods such as CSA, ASTM, OPSS for soils, aggregates, concrete and construction materials;
Skills / Qualifications
Bachelor of Geology, Earth Sciences or similar work experience;Previous geology experience 1-3 years;Field experience;Detail oriented;Organized;Team oriented;Self-Motivated;Willing to learn.Microscopic skills, an assetGIS, an asset;CAD, an asset;Laboratory testing experience, an assetWorking knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, an asset;
