Apply a culture of safe survey practice, including supervising and monitoring NCOC N.V.s survey contractors in their continuing development of the same. Application of the NCOC N.V. Geomatics Technical Standards to work executed by contractors. Provide technical support to the Geomatics survey operation team on planning and conducting geotechnical and geohazard scope, QA/QC of data acquisition, data analyze and interpretation. Support Field engineers in recommending ways to acquire the best dataset. Interpretation of geophysical and seismic data using appropriate software and program. Compile charts and reports Development and creation of geotechnical map based on geohazard data assessment Promote a culture of safe working practice by implementation of NCOC HSSE Golden rules. Interface and communicate with other project disciplines to ensure smooth, reliable and timely flow of data, and information; Contribute to the development and improvement of procedures & guidelines for geohazard survey operations in line with group minimum standards for Geomatics
Skills / Qualifications
A graduate Bachelor or Master degree in geophysicist or related geoscience discipline. Prior experience in the seismic, geophysical interpretation. Previous experience in the use of integrated approaches to geohazard interpretation. 5+ years experience in exploration or production technology business units, prior experience in an international joint venture is desirable. Experience with integrated geophysical and geohazard studies Ability to visit onshore and offshore survey operations sites and presence of all offshore mandatory documentation is required
