Development of algorithms for processing acoustic borehole measurements
Support the development of data acquisition software
Modelling of acoustic wave propagation for the development of new measurement systems in different geological scenarios
Close collaboration with engineering groups assisting the development of measurement systems for wellbore logging environments
Definition, assistance and review of prototype field tests and field jobs
Define service deliverables to provide world-class solutions to our customers
Technical communication with customers and research institutes
MSc, Diploma, or PhD in Geophysics or Physics or equivalent knowledge or experience
Data and signal processing skills, with proven experience of implementation in MATLAB or similar programming environments
Knowledge of borehole acoustic measurement principles
Strong affinity for technical problem solving
Basic understanding of formation evaluation logging principles
Ability to work independently but also as part of a multi-disciplinary team
Fluent in English Communication
Working experience is preferred, ideally within a research institute (industry or academia)
Research experience related to the Oil and Gas Industry
Understanding of standard well logging interpretation, core analysis, and understanding of modern well logging techniques
Experience in induction logging technology
Basic knowledge of drilling and drilling operations
Familiarity with Reservoir Navigation / Geosteering Services
Willingsness to travel
