We are currently looking for a motivated, dynamic and enthusiastic geologist to become part of our geoscience and petrotechnical team. Our ideal candidate will have knowledge on data acquisition, logging systems and geological reservoir modelling. This position requires an understanding of technical sales strategies. As a Technical Sales Geologist, the ideal candidate will be able to understand the psychology of each individual client, and tailor their demonstration and support to ensure a high quality and knowledgeable experience for the end user.
Geology Bachelor’s Degree or similar
Years’ experience as a Subsurface Geologist or Technical Sales Geologist position – with extensive software use
Job specific requirements
Extensive knowledge of geological reservoir modelling tools (i.e. PETREL, SKUA, RMS, Decision Space Desktop).
Desirable knowledge on reservoir simulation tools (i.e. tNavigator, ECLIPSE, CMG).
Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills, with strong attention to detail.
Ability to prioritise workload to maintain high customer satisfaction.
Must be motivated and able to work independently.
Demonstrated ability to be a true problem solver: handle complex situations and deal with unexpected challenges independently and with a successful outcome.
