As a Geologist in our Global Environmental Solutions group, you will have the chance to help restore environmentally impaired sites by distilling big-picture instruction from the client into specific tasks and prioritizing/delegating effectively. Working with other members of our team, you'll act as the project geologist/task manager/project manager for individual data evaluations; delegate tasks to junior level staff and review their work; and prepare and/or perform senior review of reports. During your time with us, you will also have the opportunity to track and forecast scope, schedule, and budget; develop change management documents and discuss change management with clients; analyze data; prepare reports; mentor junior staff; and lead and support safety incident free operations in the office and in the field. BS Degree in Geology/Hydrogeology with the ideal candidate having an emphasis in HydrogeologyMinimum of 5 years of experience in the environmental field, including site remediation, site management/characterization, and project managementKnowledge and experience with various media (soil, soil vapor, groundwater, surface water and sediment) investigations, data assessments and evaluations, and remediation technologiesExperience managing subcontractorsExperience analyzing data sets associated with environmental projectsExperience developing written summaries of technical data sets for incorporation into larger documentsMust be knowledgeable in field work methodology and proceduresJacobs is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
