The Kentucky Geological Survey, a research center within the University of Kentucky is seeking a Geologist I. The responsibilities of this position include: assist in maintaining Kentucky oil and gas records, data entry of geologic information, some geologic data interpretation from well logs, scanning and image editing, and being a first tier customer support.
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
MS Office Suite; experience in MS Access; and experience in Photoshop and Illustrator.
Does this position have supervisory responsibilities? No
Geology degree preferred; and Driver’s license preferred.
