We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our multi-discipline reservoir management team. The position is accountable for supporting development, production base optimization and reservoir description efforts in our Southern California operating fields. The candidate will maintain and improve the geologic understanding of the reservoirs and how they impact production and development, identify new opportunities, conduct field development studies, identify additional reserves and optimize recovery from challenging fluvial and turbidite reservoirs. The candidate should have a solid foundation of data integration, mapping, stratigraphic correlation and log analysis skills.
- Integration and analysis of large amounts of geologic and engineering data
- Field scale mapping and correlation of both geologic and production data.
- Log analysis and integration of petrophysical analyses.
- Geologic risk assessment and uncertainty characterization.
- Identification and optimization of drilling and workover/recompletion opportunities.
- Well planning, wellsite geosteering and geological operations.

TECHNICAL – Strong mapping and correlation skills and experience with 3D visualization, mapping and stratigraphic correlation software such as Petrel.
EXPERIENCE - Master of Science degree in Geology or equivalent and minimum 2 years experience in oil field production/development.
