The main roles and responsibilities initially will be:The Geological Manager is to deliver Stratigraphy, Chemostratigraphy, reservoir quality and provenance projects as allocated by the International Operations Manager (IOM) including both non-propriety and propriety studies from across the Group.To interpret elemental, mineralogical and isotopic data for International projects (including but not limited to – ICP, XRF, HMA, RAMAN, grain dating, grain chemistry, textural analysis, RQ and other analytical data) and integrate with wireline, seismic and other geological dataTo assist with Chemostrat wellsite operations when requiredTo assist in R&D; and workflow improvements for elemental / mineralogical data collection or interpretation and integrationInput into the sales and marketing initiatives as required for the Chemostrat lab / wellsite services in Australia, New Zealand and SE Asia (and elsewhere if requested)The Geological Manager is to ensure high standards of data QC and interpretation are maintained in International services across the GroupExperimentation and data collection, R&D;, IP and data modelling techniques to develop and enhance International productsTraveling through the APAC region for Business DevelopmentPresent International Division service results to clients, at conferences and in scientific journalsTo research and develop new Multi Client, Provenance, Reservoir quality and data modelling projects areas under co-ordination from the IOMTo travel to the UK or to other Hafren Group company locations for training, to participate in activities required for the delivery of Group servicesThe candidate will be required to have:A minimum of 7 years oil industry experienceProven track record in project managementExperience in business developmentA higher degree in geologyKnowledge of ODM, Microsoft 365, CRM sytems, ArcGIS, Petrel and SpotfireEffective communicator and training skills.*Please note Kirsten Bevan is based in the UK so there may be some delay in responses.
