Summary of Responsibilities
Will spend required training period to perform installation of TAM products and Services. To develop skills to select, and install a full TAM products solutions. A minimum of three years as a Field Service Specialist is required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
? Learn all TAM tools, 3rd party products and equipment applications
? Provide on-site client services by using inflatable packers or other downhole tools on either a rental or sales basis.
? Determine that site is in acceptable condition for running tools and taking corrective action as necessary.
? Run TAM tools on customer job sites, which may include instructing customer's employees or other personnel on how to run tools per the specific requirements of each tool being run.
? Assist TAM personnel in service-related or sales issues or questions.
? Perform general maintenance duties, either at the customer location or TAM office.
? Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor at the well.
? Perform risk-reward analysis on techniques.
? Learn to Preform field service & field operations and their applications
? Aid the district technical advisor as required.
? Review technical reports, bulletins, research papers and failure, to assist in the implementation directly in the field.
? Conduct basic field petroleum engineering functions as required.
? Travel to domestic and international client or TAM locations as needed.
? Complete final exam to move to field specialist
? Complete a project package and defend recommendations to the review group
? Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requires minimum Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in engineering field from four-year college or university.
Ability to read, analyze and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies or members of the business community. Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format. Ability to effectively present information to management, public groups and customers.
Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations and permutations. Ability to apply mathematical calculations to such tasks as stress and failure analysis of tools and equipment.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Industry-Specific Skills and Abilities
Familiarity with the following:
? Stimulation, cementing, tubular analysis and completion equipment
? Field operations using coil tubing, wireline and rigs
? Basic reservoir engineer principles including PLT logging, porosity, permeability, productivity index and recovery economics
? Perforating, tubing movement analysis, packers, liner hangers and selective completion equipment
? Directional well drilling, stimulation and completions in horizontal wells
? Inflatable packer capabilities
? Mechanically inclined
Other Skills and Abilities
Ability to work under minimum supervision in a general office setting. Proficient knowledge of MS Office software to include Word, Excel, Project and Access. Able to read and interpret blueprints. Project management experience working in a leadership role. Familiarity with computer networks and e-mail systems.
