Work in a team environment to create development plans and strategies for specific in-situ projectsCreate depletion and development scenarios then review the economic impacts to maximize the net present value (NPV) of the projectsMonitor production analogs to assess the impact of past operating experience on future development plansDevelop and optimize short term, annual and long-term forecasts for reservoir performanceDevelop a project justification for senior management approvalEvaluate potential acquisitions and/or joint venture dealsAssist in developing regulatory applications for projectsProvide reservoir engineering support to the project execution team during the construction phase of the projectCalculate, maintain and ensure the accuracy and integrity of the corporate reservesParticipate in the development and execution of a long term growth strategy for the company’s assets that maximizes value for our shareholders
Typically 5+ years of related industry experience with B.Sc. in EngineeringRegistration or eligibility for registration with APEGAFamiliarity with and understanding of the following:
o CSS: steam strategies, pressure management, depletion optimization, and drive-mechanism fundamentals
o SAGD: start-up procedures, conformance management, flow control devices, modelling, and depletion
o Thermal EOR: NCG/solvent co-injection processes
o Economic evaluations and exposure to field operations
o Microsoft Office Suite
