A university degree in Finance/ Economics / Engineering or a quantitative discipline
Proven experience in petroleum/ metals/ freight trading / chemical analysis/ Agriculture / refining markets will be highly regarded
Practical working knowledge of refinery operations would be advantageous
Excellent analytical, numerical reasoning, logical thinking and reasoning, written and verbal communication skills
An entrepreneurial spirit and a creative approach to problem solving with teams
Ability to work within a fast paced environment, be resourceful and demonstrate initiative at ease with managing data, proficient with databases, excel, other data management tools.
Knowledge of Power Bi/ Python will be added advantage
Excellent ability to analyse data to identify trends, able to connect the dots and interpolate trends
Good geographical / global oil / metals / Agriculture movement routes knowledge will be an additional benefit.
Data management / data analysis / trend analysis
Value added projects in the area of oil movement for global flows.
