We are looking for a detail oriented, experienced Reservoir Engineering Tech for a new role in our Irving, TX office. This role will support the Resource Development team comprised of Engineering, Geology, and GIS, as well as support Operations as needed.
Responsibilities for this Position: (include, but are not limited to)
Create and maintain corporate Aries database. Creates QA/QC process to ensure accuracy and quality of database. May create company standards and controls for DB management
Analyze large sets of data and create reports to engineers and upper management to provide key metrics and performance indicators
Work with multi-discipline teams such as Engineering, Geology, Land, Operations, Marketing, and field construction to assist in resource development planning
Responsible for management of non-op AFE approvals, communications, data, and JIB reviews
Gather and provide data for updated forecasts within company budgeting and monthly reforecast process
Assist in evaluations of potential A&D; candidates
A Bachelor’s degree in engineering, mathematics or science related field.
Minimum of 5 years of oil and gas experience.
Proficiency with Aries, SQL, Fekete, WellView, and Spotfire
Skilled in all Microsoft Office products, including Access
Highly organized with the ability to work across multi-discipline teams.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment and meet time sensitive deadlines.
