Reserves and Planning Coordinator / Asset Engineer or Acquisitions Engineer - After an initial period to get up to speed on the reserves and planning role, this may include additional roles (as it is thought that the reserves/planning position will not be a full time role) which could include acquisition evaluations, asset responsibilities or data analytics, depending on desires and skill set of the individual.
Reserve/Planning Coordinator Provide guidance to Asset Teams to ensure reserve and resource volumes are accurate, follow best practices, and meet company policies as well as SEC guidelines. Coordinate, document and report all Company reserves activities in accordance with regulatory requirements. Analyze and generate reserves reports for the specific purposes of reserves audits, production forecasts, and company financial disclosures. Interact with all technical disciplines and corporate planning group for business planning cycles and integration of production forecasting. Review and make recommendation on software/tools to enhance company planning functions Works with Corporate Finance on semi-annual Bank lending reviews and with Investor Relations and Corporate Planning as needed providing data and assisting with investor presentations.
QUALIFICATIONS Bachelors degree or higher in appropriate field of engineering is required. A minimum of 5 years upstream oil and gas industry experience with at least 2 years as a Reservoir Engineer. Experience with reserve coordination and reporting is necessary. Advanced knowledge of Excel, and commercial decline curve/economic packages (Aries or similar). Experience with Petra, statistical analysis software (Spotfire or similar), advanced decline curve analysis programs, and numerical simulation is preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be eligible to work in the United States indefinitely
