Description

Support reservoir engineering activities required at the Statoil Moscow office

Main technical taks will be doing reservoir simulations as well as building reservoir models

Take part in Statoils work to evaluate the North Komsomolskoye (NK) test and pilot, and for the subsequent full field development evaluation and decision

Provide reservoir expertise to Moscow office and business development

Prepare reserves estimates and do necessary reporting

Ensure proper quality control both from Rosneft and Statoil as well as relevant institutes

Some field visits and visits to institutes may be required

Applicants who show willingness to spend some time at operational locations will be prioritized

The Line manager will be at the Statoil Moscow office

Qualifications
Master or PhD in reservoir engineering or other relevant discipline

Minimum 3 years industry experience

Good experience with reservoir simulation

Experience in working with some of the main Russian oil and gas companies beneficial

Relevant experience may compensate for formal qualifications

Strong technical skills, ability to work well with others and a desire to make a difference on potentially significant impact opportunities

Capable to work with a large amount of data, and present and work with stakeholders, both internal

and external

Excellent software skills. Knowledge and ability to work with Petrel, Eclipse or TNavigator

Relevant experience may compensate for formal qualifications

3-5 years of relevant experience preferred
