Description

Reporting to the President of Master-Flo, this key position will be responsible for global sales and product coverage for all Master-Flo products and services, including:

Subsea Chokes and Control Valves
Subsea Aftermarket Repair and Service Opportunities
Subsea Intervention and Tooling Rentals
Hyperbaric Testing Services

Key position functions include the following:

In conjunction with Senior Management, establish and manage annual sales and expense budgets and ensure targets for both are met.
Evaluate the competitive environment on a continual basis and strategically direct the acquisition of new customers/business opportunities.
Maintain and grow business with existing customers through strong customer relations.
Pro-actively communicate with Director peers and colleagues concerning pertinent market and customer intelligence related to pricing, specifications, market and product development trends, etc.
Participate with Master Flo and Stream Flo Group Senior Management in the development and implementation of broad sales and marketing strategies.
Direct and mentor Sales Team regarding sales presentations, strategies, tactics and objectives.
Evaluate market opportunities with respect to fit for Master Flo applications.
Present recommendations and strategies on how to penetrate existing and new markets.
Establish effective credibility and rapport with key customer contacts.
Seek to influence a positive position for Master Flo products during project specification stage.
Effectively troubleshoot customer issues, and rectify concerns in a pro-active manner.
Monitor bid and proposal activity.  Aid with the preparation, presentation, and negotiation of quotations as required.

Preferred candidate will possess a combination of the following:

Related post-secondary education in Mechanical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Business or equivalent combination of experience and education.
Seven years technical sales experience in the international oil and gas industry, with a proven track record for penetrating markets and effective customer relations.
Experience in international business.
Experience and contacts within the primary subsea equipment vendors, engineering firms, and offshore international customers.
Extensive supervisory/management experience in a technical sales and business development environment.
Strong knowledge of production chokes, speciality control valves, and subsea oil and gas equipment/markets.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, high level of self-motivation, strong self-organization and time management abilities.
Expertise in coordinating bid and proposal activity.
Ability to travel internationally on a frequent basis.
Self-starter with entrepreneurial outlook to identify new opportunities
Proficient in MS office communications and software.
