As Digital Reservoir Lead at the Energy Innovation Center in Oklahoma City you will be part of a multidisciplinary and diverse team of experts working on state-of-the-art and cross functionally-integrated technologies for the improvement of well and reservoir productivity. Specifically, you will work in close collaboration with EIC engineers, geoscientists and digital experts to ideate, validate, develop and commercialize digital and data-driven solutions to reservoir dynamic problems.
Turn technical requirements into function prototype algorithms as needed and defined by various innovation programs. Application areas will include enhanced oil recovery in conventional and unconventional reservoirs, asset optimization, reservoir analytics, and digital rock physics. You will also be involved in product development and commercialization, new venture incubation and start-up economics.
In this role, you will:
Lead the development of innovation projects and strategy utilizing digital and data-driven methods for the Reservoir Innovation (RI) team. This includes identification, prioritization and advocacy for all ideation within RI.
Coordinate across reservoir projects and sub-programs and identify and manage digital resource requirements. This includes staffing, software and hardware both internal and external in nature.
Coordinate with Director of Reservoir Innovation, Reservoir Innovation Leader and Reservoir Innovation product manager on development of strategic digital technology roadmaps for the Reservoir Innovation programs. Assist program leads with development of product development roadmaps.
Coordinate with non-EIC BHGE entities regarding digital innovation strategy for the reservoir.
Contribute to the strategic and tactical direction of the Reservoir Innovation group.
Specify and lead research projects; manage budgets, schedules, and technical risks
Work with customers, engineers, data scientists to understand customer needs and design prototype solutions for various reservoir challenges
Bachelor's Degree in Petroleum, Chemical, Mechanical Engineering, Geoscience from an accredited college or university
Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial and/or research
Travel 10% of the time, as required
Work out of an office located in Oklahoma City
Master’s Degree in Petroleum, Chemical, Mechanical Engineering, Geoscience from an accredited college or university
Demonstrated qualifications or experience in Enhanced Oil Recovery, Reservoir Analytics, Digital Rock Physics or other general reservoir productivity approaches.

Demonstrated experience developing solutions to technical challenges
