General AttributesWorks with a multidisciplinary subsurface asset group and provide geological input to well projects and reservoir development• Incorporates biostratigraphic, log character analysis and seismic data to develop interpretation of depositional environment and facies distributions• use and maintain geological models for target identification and value assessment of project• Estimates static volumes and uncertainty ranges• implement innovative workflows and methodologies • Working with other functions (exploration, drilling, production, etc.) to ensure all processes are adhered to and that the highest quality drilling program as well as detailed well locations is prepared• Supports major geological studies• Contributes to license work (as operator or partner) evaluation efforts  Functions • Gather, QC and Integration of reservoir information (logs, core data, seismic data/interpretation, biostratigraphy etc) coming from various subsurface disciplines towards the definition of geological concept of the field.• Interpretation of depositional environment and facies distribution scenarios for the field. • Integration of Reservoir information into Field´s geo-model (Petrel).• Develop hydrocarbon in place estimations and uncertainty ranges analysis, based on the existing reservoir information interpretation and its inherent uncertainty. • Create flexible Field geo-model handling all major uncertainties from structure to properties in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team and with a strong focus on Integration of the dynamic performance.• Provide input for Reservoir Engineer Uncertainty Analysis for the field, with focus on static model parameters and workflow. • Validate dynamic uncertainty analysis incorporating static & geological parameters/assumptions. • Update static model periodically for incorporation of drilling results, field performance and update of geological concept of the field.• Assist on preparation and presentation of field´s reserves during Reserves Internal and External Audits.• Prepare reservoir input and scenarios for drilling department specifically for well planning trajectories, reservoir target and prognosis and screening of risks within drilling program.• Support Technical Analysis Group (DTA) on Business Development opportunities attending to data rooms and proceeding to QC 3rd party reservoir models and subsurface studies. • In Non-Operated licenses, support JV on the maturation and approval of new drilling/development opportunities through QC of the G&G; input and modelling implemented by the Operator for the preparation of the proposal.  RequirementsDegree BS or MSC on Geoscience (geology) Special Knowledge required  Coding (any language) Professional experience ~ 5 years (indicative) lower/higher also will be consideredSoftware skills PetrelAdditional requirements NCS knowledge
