Your responsibilities:
Develop and implement strategies regarding reservoir seismic technologies together with the Department Manager Geophysics
Manage and execute reservoir geophysics projects to support, advice and assist BO’s
Supervise evaluation and interpretation of seismic attributes for reservoir characterization
Assure the completion of projects in time, at agreed standards, with full product delivery
Supervise and advice interpreters in the application of time depth conversions and well-to-seismic-tie technologies
Participation in peer reviews, multi-disciplinary projects, technical workshops and industry partner meetings
Advice on state-of-the-art technologies; assess and implement new geophysical technologies
Championing and advice on best-practice workflows and processes within technical teams
Maintain excellent communication / cooperation with internal and external stakeholders
Mentoring of junior staff
Your profile:
University degree Master/ Diploma in Geophysics with at least 10 years relevant professional experience
At least 5 years ‘hands-on’ experience in a geophysical role with advanced understanding and experience in geophysics (focus on reservoir geophysics)
Profound industry awareness and contacts and international professional experience
Expert knowledge of several seismic processing and interpretation software applications
Expert knowledge of OMV data management standards and procedures
Knowledge of project management fundamentals
Excellent communication and presentation skills in English

According to Austrian labor law, the minimum salary related to the Austrian collective labor agreement has to be stated in the advertisement (€ 75,500 gross per year, all in)
