Our client a fast growing Gulf Coast operating EP Co. is seeking a 15+ year experienced Engineer or Geoscientist with in depth and recent experience in working in a corporate reserves team to help solidify, document and defend the company's growing reserves base for U.S. Gulf Coast properties. Will work both within the corporate reserves team and with the asset teams to comprehensively review company's reserves which are interestingly over delivering in terms of production/identified opportunities vs. what's on the books. Will wear multiple hats in terms of working cooperatively with the asset team R/E's and geo's to generate reserve numbers along with reviewing and presenting to 3rd party auditors for review to assess and come to data base driven agreement on company's reserve assets.
Company is well funded, has excellent/growing production and cash flow and is very open and executes on all team members ideas that are presented thoroughly with data (e.g. no big red tape/process gates, but be ready to defend/sell your idea as the company actively seeks out and implements/executes your ideas for prospect development). Is direct hire with base, nice cash bonus and full slate of benefits including several unique incentives.
Keys for success include:
BS in Engineering or Geoscience with 15+ years in working in asset teams or corporate reserves in an EP Operator or well-known 3rd party reservoir engineering/reserves assessment firm.
U.S. Gulf Coast onshore or shallow water GoM exp. required.
Track record of working cooperatively in or with asset teams in assessing mature property oil and gas reserves.
U.S. Citizen or Permanent Residency Required
