Job Title: Co-op Student, Reservoir Engineering
Location: Calgary, AB
Start Date: January 8, 2019
Length of Term: 8, 12, or 16 months
Business Unit: Petroleum Engineering/ Reservoir Engineering
Application Deadline: September 28, 2018 or once the position is filled
Key responsibilities may involve:
Gather and analyze production, operation and completion data
Assist Reservoir engineers with duties as assigned
Identify trends, develop type curves, and perform statistical analysis to assess reservoir potential
Support well performance evaluations using analytical reservoir analysis techniques
Must be currently enrolled in a post-secondary Co-op or Internship program
Preference given to students studying Mechanical, Chemical or Petroleum engineering
Some oil and gas experience would be considered an asset
Computer Skills (MS Office) are essential
H2S Alive training would be considered an asset
Must be able to work effectively in a team environment
Effective written and oral communication skills
Familiarity with engineering tools such as CMG, IHS Accumap, or Spotfire is an asset
