Subsurface Team Lead
The Chief Reservoir Engineer carries primary responsibility for the evaluation of oil and gas reserves in support of potential transactions. The Chief Reservoir Engineer may guide the work of Senior Analysts and Analysts. Investments include, but are not limited to, syndicated loans, bonds, structured products, direct (bilateral) loans and DIP/exit financings. Investments are generally sourced through intermediaries in primary markets and secondary markets, or negotiated directly with a borrower.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
-Assist with day to day activities of the oil and gas transactions including, RBL technical evaluation, research, document preparation, and financial analysis on multiple deals simultaneously.
-Primary responsibility for integrity of technical reserve based analysis, financial analysis and presentations.
-Coordinate with counterparties, consultants, advisors, lawyers and other outside parties.
-Prepare presentations and materials for senior management and committee review.
-Present technical aspect of transactions to senior management and committees for review and approval.
-Training and professional development of Senior Analysts and Analysts.
-As required may participate in non-deal projects or projects for other areas of the banking organization.
•Degree in petroleum engineering or quantitative energy related degree.
