Description

An international oil company seeks to recruit a Chief Petroleum Engineer in a senior Business Development role within its global oil and gas portfolio.

Role:

Performing required functions to identify, evaluate, promote and pursue the company's strategic plan and objectives with the Corporate Planning Department.

Identify and create opportunities that fit the company's strategic plan. Contact international companies and government entities. Createinnovative options or commercial models that promote new business.

Portfolio evaluation. Coordinate with Corporate Planning in maintaining economic and commercial valuation on individual projects and assets with the company portfolio.

Coordinate the company's marketing and commercial efforts relating to potential and existng assets.

Intelligence gathering. Assist in proactive collation of information relating to political , commercial, industrial and corporate data that will contribute to the company's strategic thinking and planning.

Strategic Partnerships. Investigate , analyse and develop strategic corporate alliances that will contribute and enhance the company's strategic management of assets. Pursue opportunities to form alliances with other companies on the regions within the company's identied areas and consistent with the strategic plan.

Corporate Relations. represent the company at Government and Partnership meetings.

Qualifications / Experience

Degree in Geoscince or Petroleum Engineering , Energy Economics os an asociated discipline.

20 years of Petroleum Exploration & development in a variety of international settings.

Mergers and Acquisitions experience.

Economic modelling and commercial evaluation experience.

experience shopuld include a practical knowledge in the search for new opportunities as well as the techniques used in petroleum exploration, development and economic evaluation.

Fluency inspoken and written English mandatory.

Terms.
