Techconsult is the link between jobs and professionals. For one of our customer we are now looking for a Business Development Manager – Reservoir.
Job responsibilities:Develop and maintain expertise in all aspects of reservoir tracer technology including waterflood, gasflood, oil and water inflow and stimulation applicationCarry out face to face commercial meetings with prospective and existing customers across the geographical territoryDevelop trusted relationships with customers through key account management support - from project concept through to final data reportingRespond to customer technical and commercial enquiries as and when required on a timely basis, including the preparation of technical and commercial proposalsAct as the “go to” person when resolving any issues with customersAttend specific technology forums and conferences to promote technologies and understand customer needs in the regionProactively seek and meet corporate level reservoir key decision makers who service national and international sitesProactively seek information on competitor services / products and work with relevant staff to formulate technology offering / pricing / promotion plans to counter competitive threatsSupport the marketing department with suitable case studies / paper writing and their delivery to ensure world class literature and publicity materials are available to customersActively participate in the annual budgeting process in support of management
Ideally a BSc or MSc in Reservoir engineering, petroleum engineering or completion engineering (or equivalent) although field experience as an alternative is acceptableMust be fluent both written and verbal in Norwegian and English.Experience in waterflooding, lower completion design and reservoir stimulation is of benefitProven experience in selling reservoir related technologies to customers across the Scandinavian regionCustomer focused and self-motivatedAccurate with attention to detailOrganized, good at communicating and works well in a team
