Shape the future and deliver results for DPUSA Onshore by collaborating with GGP staff to improve data accessibility. Develop and implement workflows to improve data quality and to optimize subsurface team efficiency for the onshore business.
Work with geophysicists, petrophysicists, geologists to coordinate access and analysis of multiple data types including production, well header, geo-interpretation, well logs, etc.
Integrate inputs from Land, Regulatory, Reservoir, Production, and Midstream in support of well plans, and contribute to the annual field development plan.
Work with the Subsurface and Data-Management teams to develop and implement reliable data storage, reporting, and retrieval workflows.
Coordinate and manage data integration from multiple databases and data sources.
Save data to drives, and load LAS and calibrated rasters
Conduct data searches, and communicate with data providers to ensure delivery.
Extract and structure data (e.g., .xls) from unstructured sources (e.g., .pdfs)
Assist geoscientists in providing inputs to well plans and reports.
Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field, preferred. Associate degree may be considered.
3 to 7 years of petroleum-industry experience as a geotech in a team environment.
Broad understanding of the US onshore oil and gas business.
Experience with geographic information systems (GIS).
Strong geoscience workstation skills and proficiency with commercial geoscience software. Experience with IHS Kingdom, preferred.
Wellsite work experience – e.g., mudlogger, MWD hand - a plus.
Ability to live by "I am safety" expectations
