We are looking for a highly competent professional who will be responsible for performing technical/subsurface studies in relation to development planning, production and inorganic appraisal. The position will also be representing VNG Norge in different fora and towards our external stakeholders.

In order to be considered for the position, the applicant must have a valid work and residency permit for Norway.

Job description

  • Asset Management on non-operated producing assets, optimise asset value and carry out work on the license according to the strategy and mandate given by the company
  • Represent VNG Norge in committees for producing and/or development licenses
  • Represent VNG Norge in license nominated work groups and in professional communities
  • Contribute and participate in exploration and license acquisition projects and work
  • Contribute and perform internal studies on producing assets together with colleagues


  • College / University, Relevant Master's degree
  • Minimum 10 years of experience from subsurface activities (Reservoir Engineering, Production Engineering, Reservoir Geology or Geophysics)
  • Profound knowledge with related software tools / basic knowledge of conventional software tools
  • Proven skills and ability to lead and work in inter-disciplinary teams
  • Very good communication skills in Norwegian and English
